Sandwicherie La Petrie Boulangerie Mourroux

We’ve been on holiday in France for over 10 days, we have always received good service, with well cooked food and tipped every restaurant 10% on each visit based on our experience. Food was ok here but the attitude from one of the Waiters was clearly anti British, we weren’t given a choice of how our burgers were to be cooked, or offered any sauces. We also witnessed other English Tourists been told no tables were available when they asked about seating outside, with no option to seat inside French Tourists were offered tables inside and offered sauces. The second waiter on duty on the night was pleasant and welcoming. It’s a shame this was our last night in France, we kept our own tip and spent it on desert elsewhere, and recommend other English Tourists dine else where and you deserve to be treated better than this. When we return to Sarlat we’ll use the restaurant down the road towards the ice cream shop, unfortunately this was closed on this last visit we had to the town.

Whist on holiday in Sarlat we were walking up the main street looking for breakfast and thought we would try the Chez Murroux, and were very glad we did, ended up eating there the next 5 mornings. We had a very friendly welcome and sat both inside and outside. Inside the tables are well spaced, all nice and clean. All 4 of us ordered the 9€ breakfast which consisted of an omelette, croissant, bread butter, jam , juice and coffee, great value. All cooked and presented well. Would defiantly recommend and return if in the area again. Thank you for the lovely breakfasts.

We were looking for a restaurant for breakfast, and not a patisserie, which is unusual here. We found a breakfast here for 6 euros each that included juice, coffee, French bread, a large croissant, butter and jam. No protein, but better than sweets. And the service was very good.

We stopped in this small restaurant that offers dishes at home. They are of a kindness that is very pleasant! They do everything to make you comfortable with the little care. The dishes are hearty and very good. Thank you, Chief! We will come back of course when we pass.

Very good family meal with a high chair for our baby, the value ratio is large, little eye to kir in the aperitif that is very good. We will return to our next stay on sarlat.
