Petit saigon - Sarlat-la-Canéda

A pleasant welcome, a good atmosphere, a fast and quality service, but this is not an Asian meal worthy of this name! the dishes are at home, fresh and of very good quality, I am not disappointed and I will come back! Especially for the caramel pig! top

After 10 days in France and a big lunch, we wanted a light meal and a change from local cuisine. We were slightly concerned when we saw precooked food being given to take-away customers, but everything we ordered was freshly cooked. We had chicken skewers, samosas, a veg and noodle stir fry, and some pork stir fry. It was absolutely fine, we enjoyed everything we ordered. Flavours were toned down for local tastes I think. Service was fine, prices were very cheap

The restaurant offers takeout or eat in. We choose to eat inside the restaurant in the air conditioning. There is a limited choice of wine by the glass but the rose was nice. The food is pre-cooked and in a display fridge. It isn’t made fresh. We had a selection of skewers and pork nems to start. Both were very tasty. We had Cantonese rice, beef onion and a chicken curry for main course. The food was nice but quite bland. Probably better suited to a French palate! Decent quality for the price.
