Then we were seated at a table with butcher paper covering the table clothes. I half expected to be given crayons.Very déclassé. Many contradictions: salt pepper grinders yet half empty clear ketchup bottles on the table like a WaffleHouse. Nice decor yet unkempt and disheveled waitstaff wearing dirty jeans and faded, mismatched, black shirts. The staff loudlyplayed a TV/Radio listening to Spanish TV shows and of all things, the song I Like Big Butts. Seriously? As an encor, 2 staffmembers came out into the dining room to berate a host for seating too many tables in their section. They argued, they bickered, voices were raised. We heard complaints about customers, tips... highly inappropriate. It was a seen you might expect to see ata Walmart. They are in serious need of having an adult on-site to keep the children on task and getting along. As for the food, the restaurant understands how a nice brunch menu should read and they know how the food should look, but they lack the culinaryskills to execute the dishes we tried. Come on guys, even the roasted potatoes were tasteless, overcooked, and blah. That's aneasy one to get right. Super easy staple of every brunch menu on the planet. Brunch essentials 101. If I sound bitter and angryit's because I'm still astonished by the antics and the complete lack of care that went into the food.
Great Service and staff, Adam took care of us and was best server we?ve had in a long time! Great food. Best quiche we?ve ever had (we chose the Greek), nice spin on the avocado toast and pancakes were good too. Will be coming back soon. This was directlyafter Hurricane Ian. Much appreciated!
Outstanding brunch at this beautiful venue in the Rosemary District. We enjoyed excellent coffee, and a delicious brunch, including the St. George Omelet and Quiche Lorraine. Jesus, our server, was polished and professional. Highly recommend!
We came here for lunch when they had their own version of Savor Sarasota and called it appropriately Savor Rosemary. The interior of this establishment is very light and airy, a welcome respite to some of the darker downtown venues. We thoroughlyenjoyed the 3 course lunch. It was not very busy since the snow birds were gone. I had the fish chowder and the Taco Brisket. Wow, was this good and it was part of the prix fixe menu. After the excellent food I hardly wanted dessert but succumbed to aBananas Foster. We'll be back!
This restaurant is a gem in downtown Sarasota. There is inside dining with tables that have white tablecloths. Don?t be fooled by the clean inviting location. The breakfast and lunch menus are very reasonably priced. I had the Classic Breakfast with 2eggs, sausage or bacon, potatoes and English muffin for $10.00. Ask for Alvin. Outside sidewalk dining for people watching isavailable.
