Perspective Rooftop Pool - Sarasota

The view of the sunset of Perspective Rooftop Bar was amazing and worth a cocktail. My Martini wasn't the best, but the roof window views made it a fun stop.

I understand that everyone has been through a lot over the past couple of years, and I genuinely hope that the employees find peace and are recognized for their efforts. It’s disheartening to see anyone feeling down day after day. If the issues stem from poor management or inadequate pay, I hope those in charge will address it. Regarding the happy hour, which runs from 5 PM to 7 PM, Monday to Friday, I encountered issues with receiving the discounted prices. It happened on three different occasions that I had to remind them of the happy hour to get the correct rates, and on one instance, I spoke to another customer about it. When she questioned her bill, they reluctantly admitted to having done the same to her. This doesn't seem like just a coincidence. Furthermore, they have a habit of keeping any change without asking. For instance, my bill was $7.50 during happy hour (when it should have been $5), but they only returned $12 from my $20 bill, without offering the correct change first. While I usually leave my change as a tip, it does feel a bit cheeky for them to assume they can keep it. On a positive note, they have added some shade to the roof, which is a significant and much-needed improvement. Until recently, it was nearly impossible to enjoy this bar on hot or even mildly sunny days, which is quite common for most of the year.

Hip and trendy, this unique pool rooftop bar offers decent food but comes with a hefty price tag. Be cautious if you visit on a Sunday; when we went, there was an Absolut-sponsored DJ party. They charged my card an additional fee and have not responded to any of my attempts to reach them for a refund. If you can, try to pay in cash.

The location is stunning! The view of the water is breathtaking! Our service at the table was outstanding! They even provided a water dish for our little dog. When we relocated from the table to the bar, we were greeted by a funny and friendly bartender named Guy. The drinks were fantastic, and the atmosphere and staff were wonderful!
