Overture -art Ovation - Sarasota

We had a nice evening. they have changed their menu-It is Mediterranean style eating. everything was excellent.

With family and friends. the food good and the service was excellent.

We book a NYE experience and boy we experienced the worst wait at any restaurant, this restaurant takes the Gold medal! Our reservation was for 8:15; we waited until about 9 and we didn’t mind because of the ambience in the lobby that had music and it was festive. We asked for a drink and it took for ever, same for taking our dinner order. Also the staff didn’t understand their menu and had poor understanding of the drink menu. Our first course came at almost at 10. Second course at 10:30. Main course almost 11 and they run out of dessert at 11:30 and brought us whatever which it wasn’t what we ordered and they said they run out of it. We left around 11:40pm. Which it was upsetting because we wanted to ring in the NYs day at home and not the on the road. Needless to say o say it was disappointing, we left hungry and we a bad taste in our mouth with this experience.

Me and my husband had Christmas dinner at the Overture and really enjoyed everything! The service and food was great! Thank you!

I was a bit disappointed with my Christmas Buffet at Art Ovation. First, the prime rib was delicious! But they made sure to give out the smallest portions and even suggested eating the chicken instead. It was apparent to me that they did not order enough prime rib for the buffet dinner. Some of the food was a bit cold and the dessert station was looking scarce when we had our reservation at 630. Although I love my sweets I didn’t even bother. The wait staff seemed limited and overwhelmed as dirty dishes sat on many of the tables for a while. I was hoping for more and it just didn’t hit the mark. I will not be going back for a buffet at Art Ovation in the future.
