Taverna Fish Land - Sarande

We ordered mixed seafood, but the octopus from the portion was not eatable at all, very difficult to chew or even cut with a knife which I demonstrated to the waiter. When I suggested that the octopus was not eatable the waiter said I should tell that to the chef. The chef appears to be the owner of the restaurant. She was very rude telling me she cooked many octopuses in her life and that the meat itself is a bit gummy, I said I don’t agree and that I have eaten amazingly soft octopuses. She continued to be rude and told me literally “goodbye don’t come again”. For this reason I give one star and I will definitely not come again. There are too many amazing restaurants in Saranda, this one is far less than ordinary. The waiter on the other hand was polite and hospitable.

Perhaps it is a distant walk from the center, especially if they are located in the southern part of saranda, but it is worthy! extremely tasty eating, very courteous staff, fast service and smile that they receive, they will forget the walk. very cheap prices too. the waiter explains and advises them about everything they ask, they will even find time to answer their questions in the rush hour. we come back, that is safe! highly recommended.

Food is excellent here. Seafood is so fresh and good tasting as the fishmonger is downstairs in the same building. I can recommend to everybody who likes sea food!

We had a nice simple fish diner with our kids. Service was good, fish was nice, nothing special but good. However the price was a full ripoff! : after several weeks travelling through Albania, we have never charged so much for a fish.

With distance the best restaurant in sarande! amazing service, fantastic eating and quiet ambiente make this place a must visit in sarande! the waiter ardit was super helpful, polite and spoke perfectly English. he helped us to choose the freshest seafood dishes from the menu and gave useful advice as to how each dish should be cooked (drilled, fried or crudo raw). everyone who visits this restaurant must taste the grilled octopus its special. it's really a court you can remember. Go to the chief. we visited this restaurant twice and had an amazing time at each visit. we also had seafood pasta, grilled is considered head and mixed seafood plated. and not to forget their homemade white wine a perfect compliment for seafood. I recommend this place to everyone.
