Came here twice and tried 4 parfaits. Enjoyed each one of them. I’ll recommend the salted caramel and brown sugar one. Extra toppings of ice-cream can be added at 200 yen.
Had the roasted nut and caramel. Very sweet, I’d prefer the soft cream to be milkier given that it is from Hokkaido. The nuts were roasted so there is a slight toasted fragrance to it. Ordered the set of hot coffee along to wash off the sweetness of the caramel. This flavor only comes in the regular size which is quite big for a single diner who just wants desserts.
Hubby’s favorite breakfast in Japan. Apparently it’s a thing To eat Ice cream parfaits Every hour of every day no matter how cold it is outside. Scot enjoyed this at 10AM. A few things made it unique: first it contains a thick layer of chocolate pudding (that’s not ice cream. Plus, it contained thick cubes of chocolate truffles along with some chocolate sponge cake. All the important food groups. The pancakes were terrible- ocercooked. Just get the ice cream. #thefoodietraveler #kuishinbo
I temporarily died when i brought the first spoonful of soft serve topped with a dollop of sweet potato paste to my mouth. It was a divine experience. The parfait is absolutely finish-able, not in terms of size, but of sustainability of taste. You don’t get tired or sick of the soft serve or the parfait in the midst of your meal, because it isn’t too sickly sweet or greasy or heavy. Would recommend ten out of ten, and I’d say the parfait is extremely reasonably priced given its size and quality.
