Prainha Do Juliao Bar & Restaurante

Nested in a hidden beach is this relaxed restaurant. It's more than a Brazilian beach bar and less than a high class Sao Paulo stylish restaurant. The beach is magnificent whilst the bar is just relaxed. The food is good but a bit pricey. The music is very nice. I loved it here.

I live on Ilhabela and have coming to Prianha do Juliao since they first opened. It always has been our 'go to' beach bar. In my opinion, it is the most beautiful beach on Ilha and the owners have created the perfect ambience. The food is also the best you can find in any beach bar on Ilha without exception...the fish is always fresh (unlike nearly all other beach bars), service is attentive and professional, and the drinks are always quick to arrive. Try the shrimp and tangerine risotto as well as the octopus vinaigrette ...both are dishes that shine!!!

My favourite destination in São Paulo state is the northern coast and there we have the second largest oceanic island called Ilhabela, a nice city full of infrastructure nature and good moments.It is not cheap but any good traveller deserves a good experience, does it not?This time in the island I spent a day at my favourite beach JULIÃO and no other bar and restaurant would be as nice as PRAINHA DO JULIÃO.They have a gorgeous list of jazz and tropicalia Brazilian songs to make the place even better.The food flavourful! The drinks amazing!The have beach service and we just have to relax and enjoy!Just be patient to the waiters sometimes due to numbers of clients they seemed a bit confused.

The food is very good - pretty varied menu with a lot of fish, seafood, pasta, salad and great finger food too - and amazing drinks. They have a very comfortable structure on the beach and over the deck too. The service is also great and the music is outstanding:some lounge & bossanova, just perfect for a beach day. The perfect place to spend time by the sea.
