Absolutely fantastic! We were there three times during our two weeks in Tavira and were amazed every time. We had the today's special and it was homecooked genuine portuguese food. Good service, lots of guests, we had to wait a bit for a table but not for long. We will be back!

Typical portugues restaurant with good fish and meat. Also with nice terrace next to the river with old romana bridge. Service could be better

It almost did not matter how good the food was, seated outside next to the river and old bridge, with a view across to the famous clock tower. It might have been considered romantic if the service had been less brisk and more personal. The food portions were large and the quality very decent. However we had hardly started our salad first course when the fish arrived, making it difficult to get everything on the small table. We had finished the meal, paid and left no more than 45 minutes after arriving rather too rushed. The house red wine was cheap and eminently drinkable. Cash only.

Can`t really complain but there is an air of sluggishness around this establishment. Called here for a quick lunch one day and not certain yet whether staff were pleased to see us or not but when you did get their attention they reacted fairly well. Food average, Sangria average but could not put you off giving it a try as we may have picked one of those days !!
