It’s one of the stops in their itinerary so I’m guessing it’s one of the places where our travel agency takes their guests for dinner on the way back to Manila. The place looks nice from the outside. But inside is another story. Because I went here along with the other tour groups, the place was crowded and noisy, filled with tired and hungry tourists. The line was a little orderly, but say goodbye to any physical distancing. The restaurant is like a cafeteria style restaurant where you choose your food among the many choices laid out and the serving lady scoops out your choice. Each meal comes with a cup of rice and a bowl of soup.A lot of the dishes were unfamiliar to me so I had to ask the serving lady what the dishes were. I chose their lechon kawali which tasted oddly like bagnet. I think it was bagnet. anyway, the service was pretty fast once you get at the front of the line. Then you pay at the cashier. I don’t know how much each of the dishes cost but 7 dishes cost almost 900 pesos. So I’m guessing around 130-150 per order? Something like that.Anyway, the food was okay. It wasn’t that delicious but if you want a quick dinner, it will have to do. The service could use some improvement as the staff was not prepared for the sudden influx of customers. I can see that they were really flustered. And labelling the dishes will not hurt. Most of the people eating here are tourists so it might help.
