Room was ok but staff had me feeling like I walked in on them hiding a body. Had carry my luggage in from the car and there was no warmth anywhere. Got one smile from a young lady in the kitchen at breakfast.
We have stayed here since they opened years and years ago. Everyone at the hotel is so kind and accommodating, BUT when we arrived the gentleman at the desk, who was very kind, kept apologizing because he couldn’t find our reservation. After 30 minutes, he found it. We asked him to give us a room away from the elevators so he sent a gentleman from housekeeping to check. I asked if he had a map of the rooms and he said he didn’t. He was brand new and poorly trained. The young man from housekeeping never came back, so I went back up to the desk and asked him to see what was happening. The young man comes down the hall buttoning his shirt, playing a video game on his phone. Okay. We get to the room, there is a coffee pot, no coffee. We get coffee, they say they don’t provide creamer. Okay. Asked for a portable bed for our grandson, which we asked for when we made the reservation and again when we checked in, they come 1.5 hrs later with the bed with just sheets. We ask for a blanket, they bring more sheets. The food was horrible and we’ve always enjoyed it. We couldn’t eat in the restaurant because they won’t turn the air on. We feel so bad but after all these years, we will never ever stay there again. Either close or change how you are doing business. It’s not fair to charge us $150 and give us $50 worth of service. It’s embarrassing.
It's clean. We've stayed here twice, the first time there was no hot water and with 2 kids , it was cold . I tried heating water in the microwave to give them a warm bath but that didn't work great. They did pay for our taxi to the airport because of no hot water..This time, the water was only lukewarm and again they said there's something wrong with the heating system. The breakfast is good however good luck getting coffee of silverware, I asked twice before getting any. Probably will stay somewhere else the next time
I stayed one night at the hotel and I was charged twice. I was charged for the Hold at the time of check in and the final payment at the time of check out. It is very tedious and annoying to have to follow up by phone and email on mistakes made by other people. If you do not invest your time and money, you do not get back the amount charged twice. Everyone can make mistakes, but resolving them is the difference between good and bad management.
