La Cassina - Santo Domingo

We were in many good restaurants in the world, La Cassina is one of the best. The food is definitely skiny cuisine, with a great variety. And the service is very attentive, patient and helpful. The atmosphere is very pleasant. We loved it here.

Classical restaurant in Santo Domingo, overall good experience, our waiter was bit “rookie” (Did not know the menu inside out), before visiting the waiters were very helpful that helps with the overall experience.

The food is excellent, and the atmosphere is wonderful. The service had gaps, not sure whether they were understaffed, but had to fluctuate various waiters over the service as they seem to scramble through other tables. It didn't hurt the experience much, but it was enough to think about my next visit and maybe other options available.

When I made my way to La Cassina, I couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation. I had heard so much about this restaurant, with its rustic decor and agricultural access to cooking. When I came to the restaurant, I was immediately hit by the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The walls were decorated with old decorations, and the lighting was soft and welcoming. I have penetrated the menu that offers a range of traditional dominican dishes with local ingredients. I decided to start with the Empanadas filled with tender beef and served with one side of the Chimichurri sauce. The Empanadas came to my table and I could say that they were something special. The dough was fluffy and tender, and the filling was rich and hearty. The Chimichurri sauce added a bright tangy note that increases the dish to a whole new level. For my main course I chose the grilled fish that was freshly caught this morning and served with a side of roasted vegetables. The fish was perfectly cooked, with a crispy skin and delicate, fluffy meat. The vegetables were delicate and full of taste, with only the correct amount of spices. But what La Cassina really disassembled was the commitment to quality. The staff was passionate to use only the freshest, highest quality ingredients, and it was found in every dish. Each dish was a celebration of the flavors of the Dominican Republic, increased to a whole new level by using fresh, local ingredients and traditional cooking techniques. When I ate, I could not help, but I feel grateful for the opportunity to experience such incredible food in such a beautiful and welcoming environment. La Cassina is truly a jewel in the heart of Santo Domingo, a restaurant that celebrates the flavors and traditions of the Dominican Republic with a commitment to quality and excellence.

If you are looking for some delicious steak in Santo Domingo this is the right place. The food was flavorful. I went with my husband and we both enjoyed our time at La Cassina. The restaurant creates a atmosphere of elegance, exclusivity, and class. The waitress are very delicate, attentive and respectful, very well trained. The desert was amazing we will definitely go back.
