Convivium - Santiago de Surco

Be careful tourists. The menu prices include 18% taxes and 10% service fee, but they gave us an additional tip without transparency. We received an invoice that clearly lists each menu item. We paid by credit card at the table and the waiter asked if we wanted to leave a tip on the machine. We added a tip. Before we left a waiter unintentionally, we left the bill of another party on our table. It was a different format with each item listed at the menu price, less the 18% and 10%, and then had a separate line for the 18% tax and 10% service fee. I guess this is the required format, but they give the other format to not respect tourists. After that, I should have called the waiter, but I had already paid. Too bad about you Osteria Convivium.

Excellent kitchen. I had the fatuccini Positano with shrimps and it was to die. The tuna carpaccio was also very good. And the Tiramisu was like no one I've ever had! Wow! The house wine was an excellent Sangiovese. Greet service and ambience. Very recommended.

I really enjoyed the whole experience as I went to the restaurant until I left. Beautiful atmosphere, so quiet, but skillful, very good service, far-eat are so capable and they describe any dish or drink you do not know. You can try the high quality in food and beverages so you don't lose anything that any option.

We paid almost a 100 soles for a pizza with two ingredients and pasta with oil for sauce. This has to be worst cream sauce or as we experienced oil soup ever. I am a chef and this would in my opinion be a lack of attention to detail or carelessly put together meal I’ve ever seen. The corn with cheese bought off the street surpasses this so-called Italian food. Beyond a joke.

We went to dinner with another couple. The food was very good, the ambience is cozy a sound acceptable. It was a busy night and the service was on the slow side, but a conversation with the waiter solves the problem. Parking can be a problem. I'd definitely come back.
