1000 Metros - Santiago de Compostela

We stumbled across this great little place whilst looking for a nice place to get a drink. We were treated very well and given lovely fresh tapas (one was even made extra for me when the owner realised I was vegetarian). Later the owner thought we had dropped some money and came rushing out to find us. Such an honest person. So, thank you for the great beer and tapas. I highly recommend visiting this lovely place if you are nearby, I am very glad we did.

Almost walked past this absolute gem! Great, engaging owner who prepares food from fresh local ingredients to a very high standard. Draft local beer is also served (ice cold) A pleasure to eat simple food prepared well, served hot and so delicious. Friendly service English spoken at least to a standard better than my Spanish. If you’re coming to Santiago de Compostela then this place is definitely worth a visit and the short walk away from the old town area.

Paramos de casualidad y fue una grata sorpresa, pedimos una copa de vino y una cerveza y nos pusieron frutos secos, cortezas y dos purés que nos dieron fuerzas para seguir caminando. Y el precio fue genial. 4.50 euros.
