La Casona Del Centro - Santiago

El lugar es muy bonito, la atención es buenísima. los meseros estuvieron siempre atentos. felicitaciones a don fernando se portó un 7 con nosotros. la carne estaba muy rica, jugosa y en su punto. sabores buenos. buen bar. el plato es demasiado grande para mi, no pude comerlo pero es una buenisima porción.

Nice atmosphere in downtown Santiago if you like a classic elegant restaurant setup. Very close to the Catedral de Santiago and Plaza de las Armas. You will not see the place as Las Carnes de Morandé instead the name is La Casona del Centro . The presentation of the dishes is meticulously prepared and pleasing at first sight. The quality of the ingredients is reflected in the nice tasted of the steaks and salads. They have an OK wine menu and the Chilean artisan beers is also OK. The place is clean and the services is professional.

An ok place. I had a strip steak. Ordered it medium rare. It was not overcooked (good), but sinew was not removed (bad) and it was quite small. Avocado and tomato salad was ok tomatoes where not quite ripe. I would expect a better quality from a place as fancy as that

It's a good option if you're around. Wouldn't make the trip there only to eat there.
