I recently dined at this establishment for lunch, and unfortunately, my experience was less than stellar. The food received a rating of 2 out of 5; it simply didn’t meet my expectations. The service was also disappointing, scoring another 2. The atmosphere, while decent, only managed a 3. Overall, for a meal costing between $20 and $30 per person, I expected a better experience.

The food was simply outstanding, earning a perfect score of 5. Each dish was flavorful and well-prepared, especially the sausage and baby back ribs, which I highly recommend. The coleslaw was a great accompaniment, providing a refreshing crunch, and the fries were crispy and delicious. The service was equally impressive, with attentive staff who made sure we had everything we needed. They were friendly and efficient, contributing to a pleasant experience. Lastly, the atmosphere was delightful, making it a perfect spot for a casual lunch. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a fantastic meal.

Let me first start off by saying, thank you to Nicole for the excellent service she provided. We decided after a late game to head over to Phil’s before they closed and thank goodness they were open. Bar-B-Que chicken was fantastic, both potato and macaroni salad, excellent! Also, thanks for converting my daughter’s kid burger to a double cheeseburger, she said it was delicious. Next time we are in Santee for a game, we will definitely be stopping at Phil’s and highly recommend everyone else do the same!!
