Daphne's California Greek - Santee

I believed a gyro and it was our 11-year-old dinner... what should a hungry man do? Remembers his wife loves Greek Chicken Salads and sometimes the most unforgettable moments do not need a full paycheck. The food met the place, the service was phenomenal, the facility was tidy and we both got exactly what we wanted. We also have a history of another way to celebrate each other and our mutual love for Greek food.

I’m giving this restaurant four stars because the chicken is cooked perfectly every time, but what I really love are the spices on the vegetables, rice, and meat. The hummus and pita are also fantastic! Overall, your food is delicious and healthy.

I had the most amazing lunch at Daphne's! It was my first time there, and I will definitely be returning for more. My mother and I shared the Spicy Chicken Pita and the Chicken Shawarma Pita Melt, and both were absolutely delicious! The ingredients were fresh and tasted fantastic. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. I can't wait to go back and try more dishes!

This restaurant offers some great weekday specials and the food is quite nice. However, the costs can add up quickly, with a family of four spending around $35. Parking is convenient and there are plenty of seats available. The atmosphere has a youthful vibe. I would definitely rate it 5 stars if they brought back the Gyros Burger!
