Casa Teran - Santander

We found this restaurant by chance, on our way to Santander. Very nice and welcoming servers, english menu and french/english speaking waitress. The food was great, we had seafood witch was fresh and very well made. We got the impression the locals ate there and the non turist/authentic feeling was also great. Will surely return if we visit the coast again.

We were visiting Santander, nice walk through the esplanade, the coastline and the Magdalena peninsula... lunchtime... we were looking for a place to eat but everywhere was full packed (it was Sunday! so we decided to drive outside the city trying to find a nice place to eat... well, that looks good but the prices were terrible high, the other one look so cheap, that one doesn't convince, etc. finally we found this place in the middle of nowhere. Is a very informal place, a private house converted into restaurant, can choose if just having tapas or sit down service... by the bar there was a large inviting seafood display with lobster, all types of clams, fish etc. We decided to have grilled fish for us, and came a large plate with grilled monkfish, flatfish, seabass; fresh red prawns, also ordered steaks, all food and wine (an excellent Rueda! was divinely perfect. the service was quick and efficient; prices adequate to the place and position of the restaurant (suburb of Santander and a short drive to some amazing seacliffs completely tourist free and popular with locals. No English language.

Good choice for any food, excellent rice with bogavante. home posters and good seasonal fishermen.

I met this restaurant years ago and it's not the same anymore, he ate very good mostly fish. I have gone with some friends and since it is the season we order sardines and beautiful the two products for my drop over, the service very slow the rations are not bad. I will not return

Muy buena calidad. Todo muy rico y el servicio muy atento. Cigalas, navajas buenísimas, encorad y arroz con bogavante. Riquísimo!
