Un techo con jamones colgados y una barra llena de pintxos es lo que verás al entrar al Cantabria, uno de los primeros restaurantes del cada día más animado Río de la Pila. ¿Lo mejor? Que hay mucho donde elegir (y que casi todo tiene una pinta tremenda). ¿Lo peor? Que hay que pagarlo, como buen pintxo que no tapa, aunque los precios no son ninguna locura (otra cosa buena). Podrás tomar cañas desde poco más de un euro (máximo 1,50), y un pintxo por alrededor de dos. Preparan todo tipo de tostas: con foie, con jamón, con setas, con huevos hechos, con tomate fresco, con queso de cabra, con mermelada de pimiento, etc. Las tienen hasta, ¡con patatas fritas encima! Basta con mirar la barra y señalar. Entre semana es fácil encontrar una mesa para sentarse, en fin de semana la cosa se complica. El garito suele estar abarrotado de gente. Buen ambiente y de todas las edades (aproximadamente de 25 años en adelante). Si hay música no hay quien la escuche pero se puede hablar perfectamente. Los camareros, todos chicos, son bastante majos.

Cocido frío, escaso, simplón, atrasado aderezado con el veneno de la camarera, le sobra veneno y le falta cerebro. Si quieren comer un buen cocido vayan a otro sitio
