Trattoria Da Nicola

This place is a gem, set in the hills above lake Garda, a nice drive with terrific views and this fantastic restaurant at the end. We found this by chance when the one we were going to was closed for that day, Nicola is a typical Italian matron and is absolutely charming, and cooks the most delicious homemade pasta. The wine is locally made (not even labelled) but I found it delicious and bought 6 bottles to take home, It is a MUST visit place if you are in the area

We heard about this restaurant from some friends of ours, and I guarantee its amazing. Natalia is a charming old woman with incredible will power: she cooks everything on her own, and does so using traditional recipes and local ingredients This kind of food can't be found anywhere else: certainly not in a city or in a posh restaurant. I recommend the restaurant to anyone who likes good food and good wine! Note though, that the restaurant is only open during the weekend, as Natalia cooks everything during the week. You really should book!

Natalina is the old lady of the house who welcomes you, tells you what to eat, cooks and serves you her self bottled red wine. Her husband Nicola died 22 years ago. This place feels like home and the Food is delicious. 50 years back in time. Great place.

Un posto che rimarrà nel cuore per la semplicità e la bontà dei piatti che la signora ci ha preparato con amore, era come tornare a mangiare a casa della nonna. Al momento del conto, un abbraccio e un bacio mai mancato, fortunato ad essere stato lì un po' di volte. Alla prossima vita.

Feel at home at this nice place up in the hills where the Italian mama cooks and serves you an excellent meal. Depending on your appetite, she'll serve you several typical Italian specialties. Not sure there is a menu, but you don't need one! Don't be in a hurry, this is truly a great experience! We'll definitely return when in the region.
