Taqueria Molcajetes - Santa Rosa

This restaurant is definitely worth the price. The food is delicious and the portion sizes are generous. I was extremely satisfied with everything I ordered. I highly recommend this place to others. When I return to the area, I’m certain I’ll be back for another visit.

This is a fantastic authentic Mexican restaurant! Unfortunately, I have photos on another device, but trust me, everything was outstanding. The service was top-notch as well. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. The house-made chips and salsa are absolutely addictive. The rice and beans were perfect, too. The highlight was definitely the molcajete mixto—plenty of food for three or four people to share! The chorizo was a generous serving from a beautiful tub of meat in the kitchen, and the shrimp were large and juicy. I usually get disappointed by overcooked shrimp, but not here! This place is a must-visit for anyone living east of Denver making a trip to Santa Rosa.

During my first visit, I tried a fish taco and a shrimp taco, and they were absolutely delicious! I considered trying other dishes in the future, but after four more visits, I ended up ordering the same tacos each time. Maybe next time I'll explore different options, or perhaps I'll stick with my favorites!

After eating the delicious authentic Mexican food here, I will immediately reduce the review for every Mexican restaurant in my home town of Pittsburgh by two stars. Everything bursts with taste even the fried beans are delicious! Where have you been my whole life?!

Wow! I've heard about this taqueria but hadn't been there until tonight... The flavors in all of our dishes were amazing- rich, deep, spicy... The enchilada sauce is tasty but was a little spicy for our kids. We tried the vegetarian molcajete and really enjoyed it. Definitely enough to feed multiple people. I also appreciate the staff who patiently answered my questions when I was placing my order. Overall, a very good experience!
