Jackson's Bar Oven - Santa Rosa

We had a fantastic experience at Jackson's restaurant, from the moment we checked in until we paid the bill. We had to switch tables because someone in our group couldn't climb the stairs, and the hostess was very understanding and helpful. The food was delicious, especially the shrimp with sizzling rice appetizer and the pizzas. The drinks were also great and served quickly. The food server and assistant were friendly, keeping our food and water coming. The server even let us know that a 20% tip was already included, which I appreciated as I have been double-tipped before without knowing. Thank you, Jackson's, for a wonderful dining experience!

As always, the food is great! Unusually slow service tonight. New server? We came during peak dinner hour, so it was packed, and the noise level was very high. I usually go during between lunch and dinner rush when it’s not so busy, so that can explain both things. Will continue to go back over and over again, as it’s my grandkids favorite spot. The hamburgers, lemonade and beignets keep them dreaming of coming back. And, I’ve gotten 2 of the 3 eating oysters
