Same concept as yabu, so it's a great alternative. The only thing I wish they would change is to make their cabbage more finely chopped. But overall, food and service are good. It is one of the most accessible restaurants in the area, as it is located right next to the parking area. The restaurant has a wide variety of Japanese dishes on its menu, including katsu, sushi, and ramen. We love that Katsu Sora starts off their meals with a serving of fruits. This is a refreshing way to start our meal and it helps to cleanse our palates. The food at Katsu Sora is flavorful and it is consistent across all of their branches. We tried the Katsu Sora Set, which comes with a breaded pork cutlet, rice, soup, and salad. The pork cutlet was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The rice was perfectly cooked and the soup was flavorful. However, we noticed that the salad bar was not available when we last visited this branch. Katsu Sora is a popular restaurant, so it can get crowded during peak hours. We recommend coming during off-peak hours to avoid the crowds and to have a more enjoyable dining experience. Kid-friendliness: Didn't see any kids inside; menu is for grown ups really. Parking: Pretty near the parking area, but no shades around. Dietary restrictions: Didn't find it oily so, good for me. Clean, authenticity and minimalist those are the three words to describe Katsu Sora. Don't skip the dynamite tempura maki if you love a good sushi roll. Their in-house salad buffet bar is a plus!
