Overall, I would rate the service, food, and atmosphere all a 5 out of 5. Recommended dishes include the garlic bread and dishes with real lobster chunks. For vegetarians, there are some options available, but they are somewhat limited. Parking was easy with plenty of free street parking available.

I have been a resident of Ventura County for more than 40 years. This is the first time I stepped into this establishment. What a jewel of a place! Definitely a destination to check out when your in V.C. it's also kid friendly. The food was great. My wife and I ordered a salad to start. It was fresh, and delicious. We also ordered a mushroom entre, it was fresh and well balanced. Very good. My girls had the spaghetti and meat sauce. Delicious! As for the service, Tommy took care of us. Water was filled regularly, (without us asking). He went out of his way to provide a great experience. I am planning to have my wife's birthday party here. The best part of all, they had live music, which took the ambiance to the next level. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Excellent food and superb service from James the bartender, who may just be the best bartender and waiter to be found anywhere. He is very bright and witty, a part-time voice actor and comedian. Very entertaining. And the Italian food was delicious, very good wine and local craft beer selection. Located inside the historic and picturesque Glen Tavern Inn in beautiful Santa Paula, I highly recommend this place for dinner and the hotel is simply wonderful. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
