Poolside Cabanas At Viceroy Santa Monica

We only had to order our entrees twice! Had no idea we had made a reservation.

Very beautiful restaurant with lovely indoor outdoor seating. Food was great with hefty portion sizes as well. The Short Rib the Lamb Chops were fabulous. The only issue was the service. Our server left in the middle of dinner, which also left 3 other tables, stranded. The service could and should be better than it was.

We went there to celebrate Father's Day and had a great experience with the food, drinks, and service.

The servers were nice, poolside setting cool, drinks great but the food was absolutely taste-free (if you're lucky). Deviled Eggs looked beautiful and tasted like tires, were banished within moments and some gagging. Short-ribs perfect in texture and appearance but 100% free of any flavor, you'll want to take a covid test but it's not you, it's the chef. Oh, and abusive pricing.

We had a negative experience at this restaurant with only one waiter who was overwhelmed and behind. Despite ordering two dishes to share, the waiter recommended ordering another dish, stating it would not be enough for us. Although the portions were large, we ended up with too much food and had to send one dish back. The service was slow, as we waited a long time for our check and someone else ended up settling our tab. Overall, we do not plan on returning to this restaurant.
