Pono Burger - Santa Monica

Do not get off the outside, the inner is very different and eating is amazing! really nice fresh organic beer, I would come back!

I was so excited to try this place out, food on menu seemed so healthy. So glad I did, my husband got a classic burger I got a salad that was amazing ? oh lastly the strawberry lemonade was the bomb ?!!

The best strawberry shake! Indoor seating within the signature Quonset hut has great ventilation and the outdoor patio has a nice ambience. Great flavors with all of the food, whether starters or burgers, and all are enhanced by their sauces.

Pre-pandemic, Pono was in contention for best burger in SM, along with Misfit, Stout, Father's Office, etc. Not sure what happened last night. The patty itself had no structural integrity just mush bacon under-cooked, and too much fig jam. I would guess it was made by someone who didn't like ... food. 5 onion rings for $9.50 is laughable.

GREAT place! Wood fired food! The burgers are great as well as the sides!The people/servers are also great! I cook from scratch everyday at home and they are better!
