Wan Chai Tea House - Santa Mesa Heights

Their dimsum is comfort food for me. Their beancurd and chicken feet are my favorites. Service exceeded my expectations. Parking could be a problem though.

This place seems old, although spacious. My training coordinator celebrated her birthday here. The function room was clean and there were staffs that efficiently attends to our needs. Food was just average.

We were originally planning to eat at causeway but their promo starts at 9pm. So we got here instead. We ordered mostly dimsum as they are on promo the whole day at P47.00/order. Ordering beef hofan was an afterthought, "takaw mata" as the bee said. So i barely touched it. The bee didn't even have one bite. Beef hofan - it's okay, greasy as hofans usually are. Serving is pretty generous. Chicken feet - im giving it a 4. I like the marinade. Hakao - im giving it a 2.5 but as the bee seemed to like it (he ordered this 2x), i will give it a 3. Seafood roll - the bee rates this a 2. Siomai - i give it a 3.5 as it's a bit salty Beef balls - you get 4 pcs instead of the usual 3 but i didn't like it. It didnt taste like beef..so im only giving it a 2. Spareribs - it's surprisingly good. It deserves a 4. Beancurd roll - it was okay.

When we ate here the pricing for the large sizes is not stated on the menu. we were just shocked when we got our bill. we were not even advised that the meal that they will give is the large size. we were told that the prices listed on the menu is for regular size only. looks like a scam to me. food nothing so special. we will never go back to this restaurant again and will not recommend to friends

Food was great. But service's poor. Restaurant's not on queue or half full but the service is undenialibly slow. Although server's smile throughout the dining experience, just a lack of anticipation and speed of service.????
