Food is great. However, I asked if they deliver near SM San Lazaro, they have a minimum of 800php worth of order! ???? I just hope they have a delivery charge instead.
Kimpo is one of our favorite places to get noodles in Banawe. They have an ongoing promo where you get 2 noodles for 140! Quite a steal considering they don't skimp on the toppings!
Over-ordering again with some of my friends on a super traffic and rainy Tuesday night... After all of us were told by my friends' couturier to lose weight, we decided to ignore him and follow the call of our tummies instead... Being in the Banawe area after an errand, one of us suggested Kimpo... Never tried it before and I was so game!???? It felt like the typical Banawe restaurant-- simple, sparse and serves up dimsum! As everyone was Chinese, I just went along with their suggestions... Our orders included hakaw, Taosi spareribs, and raddish cake-- all of which I didn't try... Just because of the sheer amount of food that they ended up ordering... I did try the Noodle Feast-- huge btw, totally made for big groups... Lots of toppings over lots of noodles covered in lots of sauce... It reminded me of Shangri-la restaurants' pancit, which just means yum... I tried the salted egg fish fillet which is another testament that salted egg is just genius (hello, Irving's!)... The salted fish fried rice was yummy too! Saltiness overload right?! But my favorite for the night was the sweet and sour pork. It was just good. Would totally come back for it. Service was fast. Don't expect to chitchat with the staff here. But they are efficient and I like that... Lots of parking, which is an issue for other restos along this strip. It was hassle-free, fast and delicious, perfect for laid-back nights or family get-togethers...
