Josefina - Santa Marta

Really small place where you will find a beautiful decoration. It seems they wanted to revise the living room of a grandmother, and they did a good job. The cook is a wonderful lady who was very polite. I have to say it's not what I expected. Although it would be a bit better, based on the comments on travel advisors. The place has potential. Keep it on josefina.

If your path takes you to Santa Marta, you must use the opportunity to visit Josefina's to have home-made Colombian food. All dishes were extremely fresh and spiced just right. The boronia (sweet plaintain with mashed eggplant) was amazing. My taste buds are still remembering the perfect mixture of flavors. During our lunch there was a constant stream of customers both at the tables and getting take away. Terrific friendly atmosphere. Wonderful memory of Colombia.

We had a great time in Josefina, the service is great and the food delicious!! Loved the cayeye and arroz con pasas! I will definetly come again. The price is very adequate too! I want to come again!!

I had an amazing lunch here during the restaurant's soft opening, but I understand it's open all week now. The food was amazing homemade style and delicious, and we were lucky enough to get a table and enjoy it there. I'm not in Santa Marta very often, but will definitely go o Josfina's next time I am there!!!

The food at Josefina is wonderful. I have tried several dishes and they bring back memories of home cooking when I was a child. Try the arroz de cerdo and torta de platano, my favorites. The service is great, ingredients are fresh, and the restaurant has a cozy atmosphere.
