We had heard mixed reviews and found ourselves pleasantly surprised. We arrived around 6:45 and found an empty restaurant, no worry there, we were just early for dinner and the restaurant quickly filled with other guests . Ivan was a wonderful server, he greeted and served us immediately. We appreciated the fact that though our Spanish was limited, Ivan always knew exactly what we were saying. We started our meal with the Caesar salad that was pretty basic but tasty. Our main dishes were the bacon wrapped tequila prawns and the shrimp stuffed pineapple. Both dishes were served with rice and vegetables and were vibrant in color and flavour. Our drinks of choice were mineral water and the total cost of the meal including tips was 850 pesos. Not the cheapest meal we've had since our arrival in Huatulco, but our main dishes were so good it didn't matter. Looking forward to other meals this lovely restaurant has to offer.
This past week we have had dinner twice at Xima. We had friends visiting from Toronto.Well, we have been more than impressed with their breakfasts but the dinners outdid themselves. Quite a varied menu but the fish and seafood offerings are what we chose. The stuffed filet and the Tequila Shrimp wrapped in bacon with a special salsa are not to be missed.Wonderful staff, service and vista.
We have been to Xima, in the Princess Mayev many times for breakfast. The staff are most friendly, the food superb, the views wonderful and very reasonably priced. Everyone we have brought with us has been pleased and impressed.
