Cafe Huatulco - Santa María Huatulco

I have visited the caffe before, and today with the pandemic the service is very good, meal times are great and the coffee and oaxacan chocolate are the best that men follow health directions and everyone wears a mask.

Enjoyed lunch on top deck while in port. Both had the chiliquiles which were excellent. Very quiet nice location in the park, service very friendly, prices very cheap.

Stopped in for an evening coffee, an Americano and a iced coffee. Both were very good, made better by our pleasant hosts. We will be back.

This place is like a peaceful oasis surrounded by noise and hustling. After going to the beach in Santa Cruz we stopped in here and had a few beer. Next day we stopped again and the days after we simply stayed here...walked the few meters...to the beach and swam...then came back. The beer is cold and the little food we had was certainly better than beach food.(and far better priced) The staff is professional (yes I know..lol) I realize this review is a tad off the normal coffee shop review and it is my hope that not too many of us resort to this tactic.....its so peaceful and there is always a breeze. Just one last tip...sit on the four legged chairs (not the bench seating) you will be glad you did.

This is a great place for a cup of coffee and a relaxing time to watch the world go by while enjoying the bird song. I recommend the chocolate cake. After doing a little survey of some of the other cafes, I'd say this...is the darkest, richest tastiest chocolate cake to be had in Huatulco. mmm
