Przekaż informację zwrotnąAfter leaving the charming Hotel Flor de Maria, we went to Lizas Bar to enjoy some guacamole and its renowned margaritas. Unfortunately, they only opened in December, so we drove along the beach and settled in Arcis. What a good choice. Because of the midday heat, our appetite was somewhat limited. So we ordered a clubhouse sandwich to share. It's the best we ever cost. A wonderful combination of ham, quesillo, avocado, salad and a hint of spicy peppers. Excellent. We sat under the Palapa and a hammock was set up for us so we could cool out. After a few margaritas on the rocks, some Cerveza and a visit to the very clean bathroom we continued on our trip. The service was excellent and we will certainly return when our travels take us again in this way. Next time we can choose the beach service under the umbrellas.
Nice spot with great beach umbrella service by Antonio, and great cook Lorenzo. Short walk to be able to swim. Will spend more lazy days there for sure.....Puerto
Arcis is very small and among a couple other restaurants but fortunately we were steered to Arcis by Antonio on our first day in Puerta Escondido and we continued to go back every day. The staff is friendly, service great, chairs on beach, and fantastic...food. Had fresh red snapper caught that day that was better than any 5 star restaurant, and my favorite were the shrimp tornados.
I have been here at least four times in the last two visits to Puerto Escondido. I just love this place. It has really fresh sea food (even from the same day), front seats to the Puerto Escondido Main Beach, you can eat with your...feet in the sand (if you want, they have tables in the concrete part), really kind and helpful service and yes...hammocks for resting after you eat.You can also use the beach beds they have in the beach, although to get to the water you have to walk a little bit. Prices are also good, you can eat a whole fresh fish for less than 10 USD and the rest of the menu is alike. Tip: Before going to Arcis, you can visit other beaches, have lunch here and stay the rest of the afternoon on the beach beds. Keep in mind that the restaurant closes after sunset.
Perfect spot on the beach although you might need to walk a little. Located by the rocks, it is sharing a small area with a wooden terrace where the waiters fight to drag you from Arcis. But once you sit down for a bite or...lie down for the day, you fall For this place and know you will come back. Food is excellent, juices are natural and very tasty and the atmosphere is great. Service may be a bit slow sometimes or they just mix up things but it's only fair because they're busy. Just check it with them and you'll be fine.
