Locanda La Botte

We were a table of 13 family members with only me translating in Italian. I asked for some time to explain the menu, and instead kept being pushed to order order order! From the start I said we just wanted a light evening dinner. Thus, I asking only a few starters designed for about 6 people to share between all 13 (to be still hungry for the main), we kept being pushed to order a starter for each. So in the end, we just made a point and said to forget about any starter. 5 min later 3 starters were brought to the table and pushed onto us we started preparing those, so are you ok to eat (and pay) them . Well... fine, never mind. Then we asked for 5 beers, 4 blonds and 1 red . Next thing they bring 5 blonds and 1 red. Oops sorry, are you ok to keep (and pay) it ? Eh.. ok you know what we 'll share it, fine. Mains went actually fine, that I remember. Good too, to be honest. Time to pay: Can we please split the bill between 4 credit cards? *Waiter goes to the kitchen and comes back* no sorry we don 't do that While one of us goes to take the bill for everyone, he sees the waiter work on another bill for a table of two with 54 euros being split into 2x 27 euros... Right in front of us. What the hell?!

We stopped in here for lunch and the chef treated us very well. Each dish was very good and he was very friendly. Very romantic restaurant. Recommend for couples!
