Zoe's Hawaiian Bbq - Santa Maria

I visited Santa Maria for a softball tournament with my daughter. During a break between games, we decided to skip the busy (and expensive) snack shack and try out a local restaurant instead. We found Zoe's Hawaiian BBQ on Google Maps, which had good reviews and ratings. Both my daughter and I ordered Zoe's Kalbi BBQ Short Rib plate. Each to-go box came with four two-boned slices of short rib, two scoops of rice, and a scoop of Mac salad. The short rib was flavorful and tender, cooked just right. The Mac salad was decent. Overall, it made for a nice and quick lunch on the go. The price for each plate lunch was reasonable at $13 and change plus tax. I thought it was a good deal for a Hawaiian BBQ plate with short rib. The food was delicious, the service was speedy, and the prices were fair. If I find myself in the area again, I would definitely go back.

The garlic fried chicken was fantastic, with a crispy texture and lots of flavor. The Katzu wasn't as good, but I think that was due to it sitting in a container and accumulating condensation on the way home (due to COVID measures for take-out only). Overall, it's a great spot for delicious Hawaiian food!

The food at this restaurant is always delicious! My favorite is the chicken combo - it's flavorful and a great value for the price. I look forward to dining inside again soon!

Great food selection with amazing flavors. One of my favorites is the chicken combo plate. Their fried rice is delicious as well as the macaroni salad. Also you must try the loco moco!!! Fried egg with gravy, ground beef over a bed of rice! Delicious
