I have been using the Fork for a while and although the restaurant Oveja Negra has an interesting menu, it is the worst restaurant I have ever been to in Spain. From service to food, everything is absolutely terrible. I do not understand why a restaurant like this uses The Fork if they treat people who reserve through the platform very badly. Although they have almost no other guests, they should appreciate and behave to everybody in the same way. We have ordered Tartar as starter, which comes very well presented but it has nothing to do with a real tartar. The meat is tender but not from a fillet as it normally originates from and also has no taste overall. They also don 't have any spicy sauce. As a main course, we had a dry Cod with a nice sauce and a Black Angus beef steak, which was quite ok for 50% discount, but I had much better in other places in Spain without discount and for the same price. The dessert was absolutely terrible (Pavlova), full of sugar. About the service, the waitress with blonde hair was somewhat nice, but never checked if everything was ok with our meal. Although I complained to the chef about the tartar, they only thanked for the feedback, didn 't even care to try to somehow compensate for the bad experience. Even though they only had two tables to serve, they were mostly absent and we had to go inside to ask for things, like salt, spicy sauce which they don 't have, bill, etc. When I asked for the check, they added a beer, which we never had, the dessert was not even discounted and they pushed a 2 euro bread on the bill, which we never asked for. When I asked to fix the bill the old waitress with short black hair said Minchia con 50 percento sconto , which pretty much summarizes the bad quality of the service. Overall, if you want a nice cheap meal, better go pick something from the supermarket or even fast food and don 't waste your time with this restaurant. I am not surprised if they will go soon bankrupt with the way they take care of the business.
I met this bar looking for a place to sit and have a conversation while having a drink and some snacks in the evening. We sat at the terrace and were served very quick by Cristina who always ran the extra mile for us and displayed her friendly smile all over the place during the entire evening. We did not go for main courses as appetite was not au the rendez-vous that day but ordered for mixed tapas, more than reasonably priced and were surprised by the quantity but also its quality. Whereas papas were fresh and tasty, the aubergines and specially the sardines were simply nailed by chef Lucca ? : very fresh, well prepared and when good cuisine is simple and prepared with taste it s double good! We tried several toasted beers, not a huge variety but solid options available to combine with the plates. Not pretentious,, fresh, honest, experienced staff and cuisione make Oveja Negra an excellent option in the area with a hard to beat value for money offering. I will definitely find my way back to Oveja Negra in short and as a hot sauce is available I shall rate it 5 stars. Thanks for your kind service guys
A perfect fusion between Italian and Spanish food. Elegant and sophisticated restaurant, cool and smart crew. Great cocktails! I’ll come back as soon as possible.
