Only reason I am giving one star is because I can't write review without it. One star is too much. This place is a total joke. The worst margarita imaginable, no alcohol and looked like a powder mix. Ordered a taco, I can't even begin...to describe how awful it was.. My boyfriend ordered a burrito that was supposed to have meat in it, I think there was a crumb of meat and two kidney beans in it. Grumpy rude owner, looked like we annoyed him by being there. And we were the only ones there which should have made us think twice before entering the premises. Quite simply, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. SHOULD BE CLOSED down or certainly re named as the Anything but Mexican diner.

Very tasty strawberry margarita, best guacamole and nachos. Friendly bar tender very clean bar. We had few drinks then went around the town came back for more. Is nice if you fancy a change from local food fishes. Please think about air-con...or fans. Thanks and see you again.

We visited this restaurant twice and were not disappointed. A wide variety of delicious Mexican food at really good value prices. Alfredo is welcoming and service is great. The food is all cooked fresh and delicious, it is brought out as it is cooked so...you may find your main course arrives just after the starters but this is the way of Mexican food markets so just go with the flow. A friendly atmosphere, cosy interior and great food just steps away from the sea front go and enjoy!

Dined here with hopes of punchy Mexican flavours of chilli and lime, sadly disappointed, what we did have was a very sanitised version of Mexican food, and since when were onion rings Mexican?! We chose the vegetarian mixed plate which consisted of guacamole, nachos, rice,...salad, cheesy pepper croquettes, and various other bean, cheese and onion things. All of it was OK, all tasted shop bought, nothing tasted freshly home-made, we also had a jug of lemon margarita and a jug of strawberry margarita which were like slush puppies but refreshing nonetheless and it was nice to see fresh strawberries being blended for the strawberry one, obviously at a small jug they were tequila light.

Nice Mexican food. Me and my girlfriend found this by coincidence. Very nice to have something that the other restaurants don't have for some change in our diet.
