Had a delicious meal the chef and server were amazing. The food was fresh, warm and plentiful! The dessert shakes and crepe were also amazing. Highly recommend this restaurant.
As promised, we returned to this restaurant a couple of more times. I never did get the pasta, instead letting the chef choose what was fresh that day. Wonderful fish with plenty of accompaniments, tasty beefsteak, fado music in the background and lovely people. Take the time and effort to find this place.
The place can be a bit tricky to find, it 's a bit down from a roundabout in a village on a road between Pedras Brancas and Praia look for the 'Green Light ' sign where to turn off and follow the countryroad for a bit (and check other directions because where not 100% sure) Anyway, the only choice for us for evening dining on Pico after we tried a couple of disappointments (there aren 't many restaurants at all around and this is the only one that is open all day, the few others don 't serve else than meager snacks until 19.30ish with one exception at Termodores). It is located smack in the countryside, very tranquil you have a nice mountainview and a bit of the ocean as well. The owner and his wife take really good care of you and give great recommendations. This kind of place with the warmth and homemadefamily feel (yet proffessional mindset) is rare. Had maybe the best Filé Mignon ever here one night, my wife had wonderful fish. Topled with fine wine and yummy desserts, perfect to just enjoy and relax this is what good life is about!
It was one of the good experiences we had in Graciosa. Very friendly service.
