The food was not exceptional, but the service was good, and the view of the water was wonderful. However, I found the surrounding area to be a bit questionable and run-down.

The baked crabs were outstanding, while the shellfish was quite average. The prices were reasonable, and the customer service was excellent; our server even wiped down the table for us. The portion sizes were generous—one plate was more than enough for me and my friend to share, unless you're really hungry. The view from the window seats is fantastic. I highly recommend this place and will definitely return!

Here on the commemorative day weekend after a place for early dinner and a view of the sea. Every other restaurant on the pier had waited for one hour, so I went to Woodies and saw many empty tables overlooking the ocean. Great food and café like atmosphere. Probably the best secret in Santa Cruz. Amazing margaritas, bread bowl with Clam Chowder, fish and chips, ideal for children and adults.
