Jake's Coffee - Santa Cruz

My husband and I were wandering around Santa Cruz and stubbled across this coffee shop. We ordered a flat white and it was the best we've ever tasted. The owner was very friendly and told us about how they take great care in grinding their beans and pulling their shots. A bit on the spendy side and no indoor seating that I saw, but great coffee!

Very cute coffee spot in Santa Cruz. There is just a small patio of 2-3 tables but the coffee/tea and food here is amazing! We tried their ham and cheese croissant and it really does show that the owner tries to pick all top notch ingredients for his food menu, no skimping on cheese, ham or croissant! All were excellent. The tea choices were really good as well. Stop here for sure!

Jake's Coffee Bar my favorite bar. Watched USA Belgium here, very appropriate place. Great drinks, they make amazing coffee too, very easy, close to everything. Gotta hand it to Bar 389, they have been my most solid option in this neighborhood for quite some time. Jake's Coffee Bar

Jake's coffee bar, although I didn't stop today. I still feel very comfortable when I'm there. A locals feel for me. They sell caffeine what is there not to love.

Gotta love this hole in the wall. No indoor seating, but if you are headed to the wharf or Cowell's beach it is the best coffee in town. They use extra smooth Stumptown beans.
