Once again, the price is worth it at this restaurant. Make sure to try their nachos, Paella, chicken wings, Quesadillas, and Burritos next time. The dishes are flavorful, not prepared like the bland steamed broccoli found at home. The staff is very efficient as well. It's no surprise that there is always a waitlist for this place.
Solenad 3, located in Nuvali, is a Mexican-inspired diner that offers free parking, making it a popular choice for many patrons. Due to its convenient location near the eastern parking lot and central activity area, it serves as a landmark for families meeting up before heading home. The diner is known for its accessibility, although during peak times like holidays, there may be a wait for a table. The food caters to Filipino tastes, with options like Burritos and Nachos being recommended. The portions are smaller compared to other diners in the area, but you can enjoy a bottle of beer with your meal. While waiting for a table, guests can enjoy live music and performances nearby. In February, a heart-shaped decoration is installed for photo opportunities. The diner is a convenient stop for a snack or dinner when traveling to or from Tagaytay or Silang, with a cooler atmosphere compared to other shopping areas in the region.
I love fusion food. That's why I love silanetro. It has almost everything I enjoy eating (my comfort food! . Your buffalo wings are in large portions. Two pieces will make you full. They are sharp as we love wings. Your paella is... mouthwater! It has fresh seafood in it...Squid, mussels, shrimps! Rice grain is used not only very sticky, but of good quality (long grains). Nachos are just afteros. Either order it with ground beef or only cheese. What makes it special are the dives that go with him. You have their 3 popular dives (which you can also use for your wings... yogurt, guacamole and something very sharp. Mix the 3 dives with your chips and you go for more. Pricewise, it is very affordable. There are many restaurants that invite more. What I don't like is... they're always full! They must be up to a table (equal to all good restos). Will definitely give 2 thumbs for silanetro!
Silantro has been a favorite resto of the family. Their Mexican food is not the best I've had but good enough to satisfy both the pallete and the pocket. The recent experience with their Tagaytay branch was disappointment though. The nachos of the beef nachos...were burned, hardly any beef and cheese. The top selling paella and burrito were mostly a concoction of rice and the chef seemed to have put less love to what he was doing. The UP Town Center branch in Quezon City, on the other hand, has maintained the quality of their food and that's why there's always a bit of waiting time before you can dive into your favorite Mexican food. Consistency is key into making your gastro fans go for second servings. We'll continue to visit the QCity branch but will unfortunately avoid the one in Tagaytay next time.
