Denny's - Santa Cruz

The service is good but the food portions are a bit small for their price. If you don't eat a lot and enjoy good attentive service, this is the place for you.

My family enjoyed the sumptuous dinner at Denny's during the weekend. my husband loved the crispy chicken -- it's crispy without thick crusts/breading... just pure chicken crisp! :). we also ordered some salad, burger, and steak and we were happy with how they filled us. the staff were very accommodating, very patient with us in answering our questions of our menu choices. the food was promptly served, and we were also entertained by shows on the large TV flat screens around the restaurant. they even changed the channel to the sports channel we wanted to watch our favourite women's volleyball team who was playing that night -- thank God they won :). definitely, a place to go for family meals and/or treats!

Great suburban setting-- easy parking, fresh air and greenery.....very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable staff, OUTSTANDING and gracious Manager and most of all, excellent food, served with professional skills----there were 12 of us and all the food was delivered simultaneously. The Manager approved my California Senior Citizens card without hesitation. In truth, I cannot give enough praise-- our whole dining experience was awesome........................

This is only my second time to eat here... i ordered the same, lumberjack slam... but i noticed the pancakes are now more crumbly than the first time, i can't pick a slice using my fork, it just crumbles when i cut it and i have to use my spoon to eat why i sliced...so all the rest are fine, except for the pancakes which obviously, something is wrong...

Small American diners are few and almost iconic in the US right now -- but there are restaurant chains that try to resemble some of that experience. Denny's is one such place, and in Sta Rosa we now have one of them. This is a clean, well organised and equipped (with TVs almost always playing sports channel) place. I especially like the attentive staff who make every effort for diners. It's a bit on the pricey side -- but I saw the they also have "value meals" (with smaller, but ample by Filipino standards, portions) for less than PhP200 each. I would go hear again.
