Bahia Principe Grand Cayacoa

Have a great time!!! View was absolutely breathtaking!!! Staff is very helpful and very friendly. Entertainment crew by the pool was awesome!! Big shout out to Jensey and Starlin!! (I won a tee shirt in the mini putt putt for coming in first, thank you Also a big shout out to Melvin for teaching us how to scuba drive!!! The buffet is a hit or miss but there's definitely something for everyone. We upgraded to an ocean view room which was definitely worth every penny. Cleaning staff was awesome our room was cleaned well daily and they provided extra towels how to request. The beach is small but quite nice; it's great for young ones cuz the water stays shallow as you walk out. If you get a chance definitely do the whale watching, it's well worth it!! (but not recommend it for those who suffer from seasickness Do keep in mind this Resort has a lot of stairs but you just ring the front desk and they'll be more than happy to pick you up by trolley and take you anywhere. There is free shuttle that takes you in and out of town all day until 2 a.m. The town is safe to explore day or night. Overall had a fabulous time!!!!

This is one of my favorite places in the Caribbean. The first time I was in this hotel in 2009. I was amazed how clean they kept it. I described it to my friends as a place similar to Walt Disney World, where there were people who constantly clean the walkways and parking and cut the trees to make sure everything looked clean and beautiful. The views of this resort are absolutely stunning with water on three sides. The A la cartes in this Grand Bahia and most Grand Bahia's were delicious. They were definitely five star resort a la carted. The beach was beautiful, the views from the pool were amazing. I spent most of the time with a cold president in the waves of Samana Bay.

My family and I have just returned to Bahia Principe Grand Cayacoa from our week. Overall, it was a relaxed fun adventure away from our reality. The entertainment staff was energetic and outraged throughout the trip. My six-year-old daughter had so much fun with the entertainment staff and the children's club. They have facial painting, nightly mini-discussions, dance, karaoke, rock painting, bracelet making, ring toss and so much more. They kept laughing, smiling and enjoying our stay as a whole. Thank you to Carolin, Antony, Shel Liana, Katiberlin, Roliana and Michel for making our vacation the best! If you have children, I recommend this hotel. Their children talk about their time and will appreciate the memories forever. The free Wifi was reliable and stable. The food was great too. The buffet had a variety of options with different themes for dinner. The restaurants were delicious, my favourite being the Mediterranean. The bars never ran out of alcohol, despite the other reviews. Always had my go-to drinks including morning mimosa, coffee/tea, beer, tequila sunrise, as well as children's options of native strawberry Daiquiris, juice/pop. The rooms were clean, we had no problems. We enjoyed our balcony overlooking the Snack Bar/Ozean side area. There was a walk to the pool or buffet, it was a beautiful walk with the view. If you didn't want to go up the stairs, call your room and there's a car ride right into the lobby. The pool entertainment was also with dance, bingo, darts, aerobics and more. Entertainment staff was truly spectacular all day, every day. You do everything to make sure you enjoy your time at the resort. We came to Bahia Principe Grand Cayacoa as a group of 10, from 60 years to 6 years old, and all enjoyed their time here. I recommend this hotel, you will not be disappointed!!

Just came back from spending 7 days here. We had a great experience, this was our first time in the Dominican Republic, and the hotel staff was outstanding. The room we booked, we ended up getting a better room, since it was our anniversary, thanks to Danny at the front desk. He made our stay very welcoming. The Entertainment team was awesome, they took the time to meet and greet you and made sure you were entertained day and night. Special thanks to Shelli Anna. The serving staff was great, always there when you need something, and very friendly. Even the housekeeping staff was great. The food was great, so much to choose from, and Restaurant was awesome. We enjoyed the poolside. Towels was always available when you need one. My only downfall was the beach, was cold and the current was rough, but you can always relax on the beach if you just needed some sun. We went Whale watching and after that went over to another island where we had lunch and enjoyed a beautiful beachside. The current was rough also but the beach water was beautiful and cleaner. Overall I must say, we enjoyed every moment of our trip. Even the guest there were friendly. Can't wait to go back. Very thankful for the great team at this resort. We felt safe there and place was well kept, very clean.

Not a huge resort but I loved it for it's cleanliness, friendly staff and great food. I also liked the fact that it was a fairly quiet, private spot with no other resorts in view. I'd say it's great resort for couples looking to spend lots of time together just doing nothing. This is not the place for you if you are looking for loud, crazy late-night parties, big beaches, tons of pools, jet ski or other water sports. This is the place for you if you are looking for rest relaxation.
