If you like authentic Mexican food, you have to try Su Casa. I lived near it for years and went in almost every week for the carne asada plate. And as someone else said, the value is incredible for Santa Barbara.

Excellent service and best authentic Mexican food in Santa Barbara. I will definitely come back and bring my family and friends too.

Great carnitas, asada doesn't seem to be marinated though. Orders come with tortilla chips. There is seating indoors as well as an enchantingly lit patio area outside. There is even a covered portion of the patio is you want a little of both. Three hot sauces to choose from. One locking unisex bathroom. Parking lot located behind the building.

I order a torta, but The guy was handling money and cooking after each transaction. Never saw him once washing his hands . Nothing really authentic about this torta.
