Shaker Mill - Santa Barbara

Paul is an incredible bartender. I haven't experienced such a passion for mixology since my college days. He recommended the perfect wine to pair with our food from the Broad Street Oyster Company (located in the back), and the cocktails were outstanding! He definitely deserves a visit in Santa Barbara!

I flew to Santa Barbara from Seattle, despite the high cost of plane tickets, to meet some friends for my sister's Jurassic-themed birthday party. This bar looked fantastic, but unfortunately, the bartender was unfamiliar with Washington IDs and refused to serve me. He was quite unfriendly, and it seemed clear that he lacked the experience to handle out-of-state IDs, which is surprising for a tourist destination. I am of legal drinking age, so this was very disheartening and unexpected, especially considering the distance we traveled. I would suggest trying one of the many other nearby places instead; I cannot recommend this bar.

Jesus is the man! a stop shop when it comes to all tequila and mezcal. Ask him for a drink you won't regret.

Bartender was friendly, quick and made some mighty fine drinks. Atmosphere was great. Next time I'm in Santa Barbara I'll be back.

Jesus was a wonderfully professional bartender filled with amazing expertise. We loved this bar due to his fun demeanor and will definitely be back. Loved the atmosphere and the amazing cocktails that he served and recommended to us!! He deserves a raise for sure!
