Kai Sushi Shabu-shabu - Santa Barbara

The restaurant is very clean and easy to reach. They offer excellent food at affordable prices. We really enjoyed our meal and the staff was friendly and informative. We will definitely be recommending this place to others.

I placed an order through the restaurant's website and called to confirm pick-up, only to be told they were closed despite their listed hours. Multiple employees passed around the phone, speaking negatively about me and blaming me for ordering online. Ultimately, I was told to contact the company I ordered through for a refund, even though I ordered directly from their website. They admitted to not updating their online ordering system in 10 years. I would not recommend ordering online or calling this restaurant. Looks like we'll be having #vonsSushi instead. The prices are reasonable, although our server seemed a bit forgetful, possibly due to a busy night. The food was delicious, with the cucumber Sonomono standing out as a favorite even over the sushi. The Albacore hand roll was also quite generous. It would have been a 4-star review, but we had to wait over 10 minutes for water and hot sake.

Great sushi and great Teriyaki Beef bowl!. Good service. Happy to customize orders.

Awesome and yummy food, I liked the vibes the spot has, and the cashiers were helpful. Will surely come back in the future.
