Farmer Boy - Santa Barbara

I was very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I have always enjoyed coming here, but today when I ordered my usual roasted chicken with biscuit and gravy for breakfast, I was not able to finish it all due to being pregnant. I asked for a box to take the leftovers with me, but when I returned from the restroom, I found that my meal had been thrown away without my consent. I was offered no discount or compensation, only a biscuit and a cup of gravy, which are not my favorite part of the meal. I was disgusted by the poor service and the fact that they threw away half of my meal without asking me. Despite not accepting the biscuit or gravy, I was still charged the full price for only half of my meal. As a loyal customer, I will be sharing my negative experience online in the hopes that others are not treated the same way. I felt like I was being taken advantage of and cheated out of my meal and my money.

We stumbled upon this restaurant off the beaten path and it was truly fantastic. I ordered the pasole, which was made from scratch and incredibly fresh and delicious. My husband had the Tri-Tip sandwich, which was out of this world! Our waitress was friendly and made us feel right at home. We also took a zimtrolle to go, which was the perfect snack for our road trip (although it would have been even better if eaten right away).

Been farmer boy customer for 30-40 years. it used to be something of a greasy spoon, but always friendly staff and owner. we moved away 4 years ago and came back to him was refreshing and they have made some great changes: still friendly, efficient and attentive. but eating, comfort and cleanliness have a few torn. nice to know that there are still places like these.

Really enjoyed the fish taco, atmosphere was sparkling clean, large glass windows with pleasant view of carpinteria. fun environment for social pleasures or eating alone. refilled on coffee and tee. market prices, fast, friendly service. they also sell moderate amount of food items in the inner and have an ice window on the outside and there are several tables for outside on the terrace.

Excellent food at an affordable price! The service was fantastic and my coffee was never empty. My order was perfectly executed. Highly recommended!
