We've been feeding for over 40 years! Our favorite place to eat in Santa Barbara. Brian and Brad are the best. Large steaks and seafood. The best margaritas!

Definitely not in my list of the best steaks I have ever had (to what many have told me). But the amazing salad bar and crust bread saves this from a 3-star rating. My medium-sized steak was rather medium (-good). I think the ambience is something special and the wait is beautiful and accommodating. I?d go back to try something else than Steak (there are better steaks in SB)

Food is good, but service is rude. I went a few weeks ago and the 2 hostess on the side where very rude. They told us they could sit down, but we'd have to go around 7 since they had another party. That was good, but the way they approached us was very rude. A couple of weeks later, my troubled Sunday was. We demanded reservations and they told us that they could not make reservations for more than 8 people. You said we should call back tomorrow and talk to Brad. So we did it and they let us know that it was too short for such a reservation. We called yesterday and they were the one who instructed us to call the day of the event. In any case very snobby workers.

Chuck's is a popular steak house in Santa Barbara. I had been for Happy Hour appetizers with friends before, but had no chance to stop for dinner until now. I ordered the steak and scallops, the steak was tender and tasty. The scallops dipped in garlic butter and wonderful! Your Teriyaki chicken was tender and just as good as the steak. They have a small but decent salad bar, and their pumpernickel bread is some of the best I had. They make their own crumbs, and this night they were burned. My rum and coke were perfect, the service was very good. Alarm, friendly and efficient. Pricey, but in this case you get what you pay.

For over 30+ years of my dining experiences this has to be one of the top 10. Consistency great steaks and seafood. The service is wonderful, attentive and friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a special occasion as well as frequent dining. Thanks to Chucks Steakhouse for over 50 years of serving the community.
