Cheese Shop Santa Barbara

I wish we had the need to shop here more often. I try to stop in whenever I am nearby. My daughter is 1.5 and one of her first words was cheese . She loves it! She 's very open to trying new things, and I appreciate that they let us taste the different cheeses to see what she 'll like. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and the quality of products they carry is just top notch. I highly recommend showing up and supporting this gem of a local cheese shop. They are also the only place I know of that carried Jose Andres Potato chips (they are the best).

In my opinion, this cheese shop is a must do in Santa Barbara. The selection is excellent and the folks behind the counter never steer me in the wrong direction. Everything they have suggested is delicious or, its just that every single thing in this store tastes good! Grab a baguette, cheese and accompaniments and walk up to the courthouse or the mission for a picnic. I like to stock up on cheese and meat when I visit and snack on my goodies all week for lunches.

Such beautiful design touches on the platters we ordered! We ordered Salumi, Smoked Salmon, Assorted Cheese, and Homemade Cookie trays for a recent party. I worked with Kathryn who perfectly advised me on the correct amount for our party size. She's a ball of happy energy and clearly shows her passion for her business. Our guests raved about the appearance, tastes, and artistry of each platter. Everything was fresh, lovely, beautifully arranged and delicious. We highly recommend Kathryn and her marvelous Cheese Shop for your next party!

We ordered a cheese platter recently for my daughter's birthday party and it was a huge hit! I loved how the cheeses were labeled and how cleverly this was done. A+ for presentation. The cheeses were also super delicious and fresh. The bread also came in a cute little basket on the side. Highly recommend, well done Cheese Shop!!!!

We had the best time picking our cheese here. Some rare items are on display and you can taste them. It was hard for us to settle on what we were going to leave with, but the gentlemen's who helped us knew everything about their products and had us try some that we made not have tried,, and thank God we did,, So grateful for that experience.
