Hoppy's Place - Santa Ana

Hoppy’s Place has the best Brisket bbq Burger in Costa Rica! When we were from Texas, we were impressed and surprised to try a bbq burger who surpassed everything we ate in our home country. Beef is high quality, cooked on your wishes and seasoned well. One of our favorite things about this restaurant is rock music, craft beer and wide side options offered with a burger, the potatoes with a Chipotle diving sauce are BOMB! We live 30 minutes from this place and go to town to eat here. Thank you for our new favorite restaurant Burger and Beer!

We stopped here for lunch after a 30-minute walk from Escazu. Very appreciated the beautiful outdoor seats with the comfortable breeze. I ordered a chicken sluice with soup. It was very tasty and definitely was the best tomato soup I've ever eaten. I would also recommend the Sangria.

Ginger Limettenseda was freshly made and was literally one of the best refreshments I ever had in my life. So excellent. Mojito my gf had ok, mint leaf flavors were not in drinks, she was disappointed. Potatoes with meat pretty good. Potatoes were plentiful, crispy and tasty, sauces were excellent, cheese could have been melted on top more imo, and the Mexican type pork was dry, too salty and literally charred to suck. My Gf loved her queen. Overall, highly recommended, good quality and good value, good atmosphere, our server was great, and we did not even drink beer.

This place is a fantastic brewery in San Jose! The beers are top notch and so is the food! Alberto and Nathalia are gracious hosts and have a great spot with fantastic brews on tap. Definitely a great spot and I look forward to visiting again next trip!
