Wang Cho Bbq All You Can Eat

So I came here because reviews boast this place as High Quality . Let me frank, the meat was good at best unless you are going for dishes on the king/ emperor. The meat themselves are cut thinner than any other kbbq style shop I have been to. The tofu stew needs work along with the other side dishes.The only thing I could appreciate was the service.

Had A LOT(will get to later) of the LA Marinated Short Ribs, Spicy Rosemary Shrimp, Spicy Pork Belly, Angus Strips, and some House Noodle Soup. Arrived about 9:45pm, seated around 10pm, they close at 11pm. You can order 4 meats at a time, and whatever menu lost you pick from, you and your guest(s) also automatically get those choices. We chose the Emperor . The sides were delicious especially the kimchi, the soup was also delicious. 10:35pm roles around and our server says,

Awesome korean bbq spot in Santa Ana. They have alot of choices and they have soups. The service is outstanding. Would like a bit more sides but it was okay. I also really liked the ambiance. Definitely coming back.

This is a pretty popular place for my family, but whenever we go here, i end up dissatisfied. the meat is never the best, and i just feel like i can get better meat/dishes with better value. the service was acceptable, not sure about the atmosphere. wouldnt recommend for bbq.

Today the service was horrible and come to find out the gratuity was automatically added because we had 5 people. The prices are already high compared to everyone else and compared to others the quality is just sub par. But taking 30$ in tip for horrible service is completely ridiculous. Seems if party is 5 or more they can ignore you and still have guaranteed tips. We where not advised of this either so it came as a big surprise. Gratuity are given voluntarily based on service not based on party sizes especially when you have to cook everything yourself That's just ridiculous. First time seeing this last time ever coming here. Our service was not worth 30$ no where even close.
